Recently, the Sallisaw campus of Carl Albert State College sponsored a luncheon held at Ruger’s Grill to celebrate and recognize the support of the community for scholarship recipients.
Students attending the Sallisaw campus of CASC have the opportunity to take advantage of scholarships generously sponsored by members of the Sequoyah County area, individuals whose financial contributions help pave the way for Viking students.
“The generosity of many in Sequoyah County has made a difference in the lives of countless area students,” said Buddy Spencer, long-time CASC advocate and Trustee. “We must invest in our students, as they are our future doctors, lawyers, and business owners. It’s about leaving a legacy and building for our future and the future of our children.”
