The Alpha Delta Lambda Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, at Carl Albert State College, is proud to announce awards received at the recent virtual Regional Convention. The following recognition and awards were received:

Certificate of Merit for Top 5 for College Project

Certificate of Merit for Top 5 for Honors in Action Project

Certificate of Merit for Top 5 for Most Distinguished Chapter

Trophy for 1st Place for Honors in Action Project, Theme 4: Expressions of Truth

The chapter also achieved 5-Star again this year, the highest star level possible. Celebrating this honor on behalf of the Alpha Lambda Chapter is Annette Staats, Contact Advisor, Selena Ibarra, VP of Service, and Marsha Caughern, Co-Advisor.

Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society has recognized academic excellence in the two-year colleges since 1918 and has become the largest and one of the most prestigious honor societies in higher education. The CASC chapter was chartered in 1979 as the Apha Delta Lambda Chapter. Phi Theta Kappa membership is by invitation only to students who have completed at least 12 credit hours toward their degree with a 3.5 or better grade point average. Students may be either full-time or part-time and must enjoy the full rights of citizenship of their country.
