With over a decade of Vike Hike events completed, it was not an easy or carelessly made decision to move the 2020 event virtual. Event organizers know that participants plan, train, fuel, and have fun at this event each year. These factors delayed Carl Albert State College’s decision in order to make the best move possible for all parties involved, with high hopes of still running together in a traditional format in 2020. “The current climate has made safety, while running together, more than we can promise at this time and we want to give all of our runners the opportunity to plan and properly train for the virtual event,” said event coordinator Hali Repass. “Therefore, the Vike Hike half marathon and 5k will take place virtually for 2020.”
Participants who have previously registered need not send any additional paperwork at this time. Details regarding the submission data of your completed event are below.

- drive through to pick up your packet at the Poteau campus of CASC on Thursday, November 19 from 5-8pm or we will mail it to you by the first week of December if you are unable to utilize the drive through packet pick up.
Additionally, registration is open on runsignup.com. Non-PACE registration is $25 for the 5K, $50 for the half, and $75 for the brick. PACE members will sign up through Choctaw Nation and should look for an email from the Choctaw Nation.
Repass said that all participants will receive a VH shirt and finisher’s medal. All VIKE BRICK participants will receive two shirts, two medals, and a Viking Brick.
