On September 16, more than 200 Carl Albert State College students joined one another to participate in the ‘Thinkfast Title IX Game Show’ located in the Hamilton Auditorium on CASC’s Poteau campus.
The event was sponsored by CASC’s Title IX Office and the Office of Student Affairs. Based on the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, or VAWA, higher education institutions are charged with implementing preventive education programs for students that promote awareness of rape, acquaintance rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Each student winner of the game show was awarded a $200 cash prize.
