There are 43 PTK chapters in the Oklahoma/Arkansas region that vied for this award.
“I am so proud of our entire chapter,” said Annette Staats, PTK Advisor, “but, we would have never achieved the awards we did without the dedication and commitment of Connie Fines and Jess Leflore.”
Connie has served the chapter as President and headed up the Honor’s in Action Project throughout the year while Jess served as the Vice President of Scholarship and Communications.
“With the help of her safety team, Jess oversaw the College Project,” Staats continued. “The determination and perseverance Connie put forth in writing the Hallmarks these awards were based on was amazing. If you have either of them in class or see them around campus, be sure to give them a “pat on the back” and tell them “job well done!”
The Carl Albert State College family joins in celebration of these outstanding individuals and their acknowledgement of their tremendous work.
“These are our best and brightest students,” said Dr. Jay Falkner, CASC President. “Each PTK member and their advisors, Annette and Marsha, have made this college proud. Congratulations and job well done.”
