POTEAU, Oklahoma - Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau is pleased to announce their newest clinic in the EOMC Family.
The Poteau Chamber of Commerce welcomed the clinic with a ribbon cutting ceremony during their grand opening on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Cavanal Medical Clinic is now open at 1013 Dewey Ave in the former Dewey Medical building.
The clinic is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.
Tiffany Griffis, who has been employed for 15 years at EOMC recently earned her Doctorate in Nursing and is now known as Tiffany Griffis DNP, APRN FNP-C, she along with Dr. Dennis Carter will provide medical care to the community.

“I’m very exciting to start to this new adventure,” said Griffis. "I want to continue providing quality care to the people of the community."
"This is exciting to have the Cavanal Medical Clinic," said EOMC CEO Bob Carter. “I am extremely proud of Tiffany and excited to open the clinic.”
Carter stated that plans are now underway to get the clinic certified as a a rural health clinic. “As a rural health clinic, which is a federal program, allows different payment methods with Medicare and Medicaid,” said Carter.
