Poteau, OKLAHOMA – The city of Poteau hosted its annual fireworks show with festivities starting at 6pm with water slides and live music with the Still Kickin Band, afterwards people gathered around town to watch the firework show which was cut short, because of a mishap that occurred during the firework show.
During the show, one of the fireworks exploded on the ground instead of in the air and the sparks from the fireworks hit some spectators who were sitting nearby, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
