Celebrate America
The city of Poteau, along with the Poteau Chamber, the LeFlore County Historical Society, the Lions Club, The Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club and the LeFlore County Youth Services is supporting this event, and they are requesting volunteers to help with the event which will start at 6pm and go until 9pm, followed by the spectacular Fireworks Show. Many volunteers are needed to help man the water slides and work the concession.

Celebrate America will take place in the Poteau City Hall Parking lot and the adjacent street with a DJ playing music, and various vendors, and 4 water slides–2 for the younger children and 2 for the older children.
Hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will be for sale by the Celebrate America Committee.
Looking for Vendors (Free of Charge) – Business or non-profit organizations who wishes to set up a booth, to sell items and/or do such things as face painting, arts and crafts, games, and other things for kids, can do with out having to pay a vendor fee. This could be a great fund-raiser for your organization. Contact David Deaton at 918-647-8298 or 918-647-9330.
The Historical Society will be selling glow necklaces and glowsticks. Depending on the weather, they will also have cotton candy for sale.
No Food vendors please.
