Clayton Man injured in wreck in Pushmataha County Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Clayton man was injured in a one vehicle accident that occurred on March 31, 2019 at 5:15am on United State Highway 271, approximately one and half miles north and three miles east of Albion in Pushmataha County.


According to the report, a 1998 GMC pickup, driven by Brady Sisk, 21, from Clayton was traveling north bound on US 271 when he departed the roadway to the right, struck a tree and overturned one complete time.


Sisk was pinned under the vehicle for approximately 2 hours before being freed.

 

He was transported by Air Evac to St Francis Hospital Tulsa listed in stable condition with a back injury.


According to the OHP report the condition of driver was Odor of Alcohol and the cause of the collision was Alcohol DUI.


Seat belts were equipped but not in use
Airbags – equipped not deployed
Weather was clear
Roadway – two lanes asphalt


The Accident was investigated by OHP, assisted by LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, LeFlore County EMS and Talihina Fire Department.
