I apologize for missing several weeks of this article. We have been working to get storm damage assessed and worked on throughout District 2. We have had FEMA visit and evaluate different areas to see what funds we can use to fix some areas, bridges and roads that were hit extremely hard.
We appear to be having some drier weather ahead. This will help us work on some areas. We have a couple of bridges that need lots of repair now, but we will have to wait until the creeks dry up to get in there and replace sections. Other bridges were completely washed out they got moved ahead of the list. We are working. These areas are not forgotten.
Our patch crews will be out this week patching, as well as brush hog crews. Please be mindful of them if you see them working.. If you notice an area that requires attention, please call us and let us know. Lots of tin horns are also being replaced around the county that need work.
