Welcome to my weekly commissioner’s corner. This week’s commissioners’ meeting will be at 9:00 A.M on Monday in the commissioners’ room.
We replaced several tin horns on Meadow View off Old 112. This week the tanker car will be delivered to Old Mine Road to replace the bridge that was washed away in the April storm and then again in the May storm. This should be a permanent fix. We are in the process of getting the tanker cars for Wildhorse but that will be a little while still.
July 4th is this week. Please be safe. Wister Parade is Friday morning at 10am. Be watching for my crew. We will be out, weather permitting. Also, glad to able to support the Poteau Downtown festivities. Get our and support our local towns. Lots of time and effort are put into these events. Make sure you thank Karen and the Chamber and David Deaton and the Museum for making sure the town has so many great activities.
Our patch crews will be out this week patching, as well as brush hog crews. Please be mindful of them if you see them working.. If you notice an area that requires attention, please call us and let us know. Lots of tin horns are also being replaced around the county that need work.
