The CPKC Holiday Train will stop in Heavener Along Main Street between W Ave F & W Ave C, Heavener, Oklahoma November 29 between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. Performers at Heavener will be Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde.
The 2025 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. Nov. 19 through Dec. 21, raising money, food and awareness to support food banks across our network. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.
Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.
“Every year, our railroaders take great pride in bringing the Holiday Train across our network, this year reaching even more communities for the first time. We are thrilled to send this beautiful train filled with lights and music to spread the joy of the season and proud to support the giving spirit of the holidays assisting people experiencing food insecurity. It’s incredible to see communities come together every year to celebrate the holidays while supporting local food banks.” – Keith Creel, CPKC President and Chief Executive Officer

- Cash donations are especially valuable as they allow food banks to use their buying power effectively
What to Know:
- Check with your local food bank for specific needs, as they vary by location
- All donations collected at each Holiday Train stop remain in that community
- Since 1999, the program has raised over $26.1 million and 5.4 million pounds of food
At the Event:
- Holiday Train concerts are completely free
- Food banks will have a designated location on-site to accept donations
- All collections happen at the event location, not on the train itself
The Holiday Train program supports local food banks and helps raise awareness about food insecurity in communities. Your canned food donations make a real difference in your local community!
2025 Holiday Train Update
The 2025 Holiday Train will travel more of the CPKC network than ever before. In order to bring the magic, lights and live music of the Holiday Train to more of our network, after 23 years of stopping in communities during the holiday season, the Holiday Express equipment will be retired.
To recognize the legacy of the Holiday Express, Rudy will be featured in lights with a beautifully designed mural that will be part of the U.S. Holiday Train’s lighting design.
We are grateful to all the volunteers and communities who have supported the Holiday Express over the years. CPKC will continue to support these communities through the Holiday Train program and we really look forward to sharing the music, magic and community spirit of the Holiday Train to an even broader audience.
While some things are changing with the Holiday Train program this year, the spirit, impact and joy that the program brings remain the same.
