“Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center is excited to announce an addition to our EOMC Family. Mark Mayfield, MD is a Board-Certified Family Physician who has relocated to Poteau after practicing in Texas for 30 years.
He and his wife were both born in Oklahoma and love this part of the state. After completing studies at Texas Christian University, he attained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. After 3 years of additional residency training in Phoenix, Arizona, he returned to Texas to practice. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fishing, travel, and time with his dogs.
Dr. Mayfield is located at the Family Medical Clinic at 104 Wall Street-across the street from the hospital and is accepting new patients at this time.
