My name is Eric Blaylock and I am running for Street Commissioner of Poteau. I worked for the Street Dept. for 20 years. I had the privilege of working with Podie Meeks, Jerry Hale, Jim Seale, & Jerry May.
Jerry May shared his 50 years of asphalt knowledge with me & I learned a good deal from him. The time I spent in the city gave me experience & knowledge of operating all the machinery the city uses daily.
I had the privilege of training many men to use that equipment & helping oversee their daily duties. I know the city has a lot of work that needs attention. I look forward to addressing these issues & meeting those needs. If you elect me to the position of Street Commissioner, you have my word that I will do my best to get things done!
