According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a fatality collision occurred January 24, 2022 at approximately 1:15pm at the intersection of US-259 and OK-63, in city limits of Muse, in LeFlore County.

According to the report, a 2005 Peterbuilt, driven by Gerald Heifner 49,of DeQueen, Arkansas was traveling southbound on US-259 a was traveling southbound on US-259 and a 2019 Subaru, driven by Bradley Wolf, 46, of Vancuver, WA.

Wolf was two was pinned for 4 hours and was pronounced dead at the scene, he was transported by Dowden Roberts Funeral Home in Heavener, Oklahoma.

Heifner was Transported by LeFlore County EMS to Mena Regional Hospital in Mena Arkansas, with head, arm, and trunk external injuries in stable condition.

The accident was investigated by OHP, Leflore County Sheriff’s Office. Big Cedar Fire Department of LeFlore County and Haw Creek Fire Department of McCurtain County.
