Tragedy struck a Poteau family, when at 10:53 am on Saturday, July 8, 2018 the Poteau Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Sexton Street.
The fire department was quick to respond to the call as well as LeFlore County EMS.
The fire may have started in a bedroom, but the cause has yet to be determined.
Dannyell McClullah who was in the home at the time of the fire has died.
