According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a fatality collision occurred Jan 10, 2023 at approximately 6:50 pm on US-271 and Sunset Ln, approximately 20 feet west of Spiro in LeFlore County.
According to the report 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Bobbie Fisk, age 76, from Keota turned westbound in eastbound lane on US-271, then drove straight into 2022 Kia K5, driven by Megan Watts 36, from Spiro, OK.
Watts was Air Flighted to St Francis in Tulsa, Ok. Admitted in critical condition lower leg, arms, and trunk internal injuries
Fisk was pronounced deceased on scene, transported to funeral home.
Accident was investigated by Spiro Fire Department, Spiro Police Department, Panama Police Department, and LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office.
