There was a good crowd on Friday morning at the annual Legislative breakfast at the Donald W Reynolds Center. The event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the Poteau Chamber of Commerce.
The Poteau FFA students served breakfast and presented the colors before each legislator introduced themselves and what issues they will working on in the upcoming session,
Legislators in attendance were:
Senator Larry Boggs District 7 which includes Haskell, Latimer, Pittsburg and parts of Hughes and Okfuskee counties
Senator Mark Allen, District 4 which includes Sequoyah and northern half of LeFlore County
Representative Johnny Tadlock 1st District which is most of McCurtain and some of LeFlore County
Representative Jim Grego District 17 which is Latimer, LeFlore and Pittsburg
Representative Lundy Kiger District 3 which is LeFlore County
After introductions each legislator had the opportunity to answer questions from the public.
The Farm Bureau’s Lady Auxiliary presented each legislator in attendance with a gift basket.
