According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Howe man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred at approximately 11:15pm on May 10, 2018 on Boyd street in Monroe, in LeFlore County.
According to the report, a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Michael Nance, 51, of Howe was traveling southbound on Boyd Street when he lost control of his motorcycle and laid the motorcycle over onto the right side.
Nance had to be transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. He is listed in serious condition with trunk internal, external, head, arms, and legs injuries.
The accident was investigated by OHP, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Department, Howe Police Department, Howe Fire Department and Monroe Fire Department.
