Howe man killed in ATV accident Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Howe man was killed in a ATV accident that occurred on November 26, 2020 at 3:27pm on a private property, 3.7 miles East of Heavener in LeFlore County.

According to the report, Edwin Brown, 63, of Howe was driving a Polaris RZR, Northbound on a dirt trail on private property; the dirt trail had been washed out the Polaris rolled two complete turns, to the East, ejecting Brown and then the Polaris landed on top of Brown.

A passenger with brown, David Anders 50 of Hurst, TX. Refused treatment at the scene.


The accident was investigated by OHP, assisted by LeFlore County EMS, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Department and Heavener Fire Department.
