Just a shout out to the dancers. It all started in a barn in Appalachian mts. and spread West. Just a fiddler and a Jig. Up from Naw’lins, La. with a Zydeco tempo. Music reached our area just about as soon as this land was settled. It was passed down from generation to generation with always at least one in the area that’s naturally gifted. But if a fiddle tune was sawed or Wildwood Flower could be heard, then there were dancers. Folks that just couldn’t stand still and danced til the fiddler broke all his strings. And remember before the wifi and streaming, Barn dances were the best way to meet and woo a spouse. It was the social event of smalltowns everywhere. So when I read the following thought, it explained a lot about the dancers. They are the emotion and energy that the bands can measure the worth of their music. So, Dance like nobody’s watching. Support Live Music.

“The Dance Floor”- Where the bill and responsibilities don’t matter, Where the stress is gone. My happy place, where my soul is free. My smile is real and I am my own true self. Nothing matters but me and the music. The dance floor is my Freedom!
