I am deeply honored and humbled that I have been elected to serve as the Ward 2, Seat 1 representative on the Poteau City Council.
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the residents of Poteau for placing your trust in me. Your support means the world to me, and I am truly grateful for the encouragement, kind words, and votes that helped make this campaign a success.
To my family, especially my wife Carol, our children, and grandchildren – thank you for standing beside me throughout this journey. Your unwavering support and love gave me the strength to run this campaign with integrity and purpose.
I would also like to thank everyone who shared my message and believed in the vision for Poteau’s future. This was truly a community effort, and I am proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
From the beginning, this campaign driven from the desire to continue serving the city I love. Having spent my life in Poteau, as a public servant, business owner, and proud community member, I am excited to begin this new chapter of service. I look forward to working with fellow council members and city departments to continue building a stronger, more vibrant community for all of us.
This campaign was never about me – it was about all of us who love this city and want to see it thrive. I’m committed to listening, learning, and leading with the same dedication and heart that guided me during my years with the Poteau Fire Department and as a local business owner.
