Kiamichi Tech is auctioning two tiny homes built by Construction Technology students at the Atoka and McAlester campuses. The online auctions are open now and close Oct. 8.
Whether you’re looking for a guest house, hunting cabin, lake retreat, rental property, backyard getaway or home on wheels, these unique homes showcase the quality craftsmanship and hands-on skills students develop through real-world learning experiences.
The Atoka tiny home features 286 square feet of living space with a lofted bedroom, electric and water connections, a two-burner smooth-surface electric cooktop, a utility bump-out with water heater and a 24-foot flatbed trailer. See More Photos HERE.
The McAlester tiny home includes a variety of smart-home features, including Google Home integration, smart lighting, security cameras, a smart doorbell, Nest smoke detector, Roku TV and smart switches. The home is also equipped with air conditioning, an Empava stovetop and microwave, utility bump-out and a 24-foot flatbed trailer. See More Photos HERE.
“These homes represent hundreds of hours of hands-on learning and craftsmanship by Kiamichi Tech students,” said Shelley Free, Kiamichi Tech Superintendent. “They are more than tiny homes. They are a showcase of the talent, dedication and career-ready skills being developed in our programs every day.”
