Rep. Lundy Kiger’s Town Hall today about the water conditions in the city of Heavener drew over 80 people in attendance while another 2,000 watched from the live stream.

At the conclusion, it was decided a community group will be established to facilitate communication with the local government. Due to a large virtual attendance, a second Town Hall will be held for those who couldn’t attend in person.

This second meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at Heavener Public School’s Performing Arts Center/Auditorium.

Kiger invites everyone impacted to come and bring water samples, clothing, or pictures to show how the water has effected them.
