The Shady Point Lady Warriors won 3rd place overall in Division II of the ORES Track State Championship at McAlester High School Saturday April 27th.
Karli Albert was state champion in the discus with a distance of 82’ and state champion in the shot put with a distance of 34’. Kara Albert was state champion in the 800M with a time of 2:43, state runner-up in the high jump with a height of 4’9” and state runner-up in the 1600M with a time of 6:06.
Brinklee Butler placed 3rd in the 300M hurdles with a time of 57 seconds.
The 1600M relay team placed 3rd with a time of 4:43. Members of the 1600M relay are Sophie Pulice, Hannah Enkoff, Kara Albert, and Brinklee Butler.
