The LeFlore County Historical Society is pleased to announce that they have received a Walmart Local Community for $500.00

The Community Grant is available for local nonprofit organizations that help to improve access to recreation, arts or cultural experiences for low-income individuals and families in the local service area.

“We are pleased to be awarded the grant that will help offer historical artifacts of the LeFlore County and educate the community on the rich history of the county” said Director of the LCHS, David Deaton. “The grant will help us to be able to continue to offer our services free of charge to the public.”
