Poteau, OKLAHOMA – On April 10, 2019 the Cooking with the C’s Chili Contest was held at the Donald W Reynolds Center in Poteau.
The reason for the even to raise money for non-profit organizations that help in the community.
For 2019, the proceeds of the event went to the LeFlore County Youth Services.
The LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation, comprised of individuals who care about children and families.
The MISSION of LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc. is to provide opportunities for healthy development to the youth and families of LeFlore and Haskell Counties.
On April 30th, Karen Wages, CEO of the Poteau Chamber of Commerce presented a check for $1067.30 to Terri Krebs, Director of the LeFlore County Youth Services.
