A fatality collision occurred earlier this morning on US-259 at Hair Pin Curves, approximately 3 miles south and 3 miles east of Muse in Leflore County.
According to the report filed by Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2013 Freightliner driven by Timothy Taylor from Lancaster, Texas was travelling northbound on US-259 at Hair Pin Curves and was speeding when it exited the roadway to the right and rolled over on top of a cement barrier crushing the driver. Taylor was pronounced deceased on scene by Medical Investigator Chris Cole.
OHP was assisted by Big Cedar Fire Department, Haw Creek Fire Department, Hodgen Fire Department, and Leflore County EMS .
