LeFlore County Republicans hosted a meeting with Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction candidate Dr. James Taylor Thursday afternoon at the Patrick Lynch Public Library in Poteau. Dr. Taylor will be on the Republican Run-Off ballot on August 25th.

Area voters will have an opportunity to hear Dr. Taylor’s opponent, Dr. Robert Franklin, speak August 1, at the Cavanal Event Center at 202 Dewey Avenue in downtown Poteau. The event is slated to run from 2:40-3:30.
