According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a personal injury collision occurred 4/25/2022 at approximately 4pm on US-271 approximately 3 ½ miles east of Spiro in LeFlore County.
According to the report, a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle , driven by Anthony Madden, age 62 from Cameron and a 2017 Ford F250 driven by Billy Israel age 30 from Fort Smith Arkansas were Westbound on US-271 when the motorcycle tried to pass the Ford F250 on the right side of the lane and collided..Madden to be ejected.
Madden was transported to St John Memorial Hospital by Air Evac with head arm and internal body injures listed in critical condition .
Israel was not injured.
Investigated by OHP and assisted by Pocola police department, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office and Murry Spur Fire Department .
