Medical Incident at the High School Track In Poteau

POTEAU, Oklahoma – At approximately 6:45 am on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, authorities responded to an apparent medical issue where CPR was in progress at the track at Costner Stadium in Poteau.

Details of the incident have not been released, but it was reported that the victim did not survive.

The Poteau High School Band which usually has early morning practice in the parking lot next to the track, could not practice this morning due to the incident and having the area taped off.
