To give a little background on myself, my husband Tony and I have been married for 18 years. We have 2 children, Kainan and Kaydi Riley, who currently attend Poteau High School. I am a 2005 graduate of Poteau High School and furthered my education at Kiamichi Technology Center in the Licensed Practical Nursing Program. I currently work as a Nurse at Pinnacle Health in Poteau. My husband, Tony owns Tony’s Plumbing and has been on the Poteau Fire Department for the last 9 years.
I’ve enjoyed serving my community in many ways including being a member of our local schools PTA, coaching basketball, t-ball, soccer, and cheer. Now that my children are older, I believe that the service to my community has shifted and would like to represent Poteau as a council member.
As a lifelong citizen of Poteau I have loved watching it grow and flourish. Tony and I are grateful to raise our 2 children in the strong community, where we grew up. I’m confident over the next 4 years Poteau will see unprecedented growth and I look forward to the opportunity to usher Poteau into the new and modern era.
