Betty Ford, a field representative for Congressman Markwayne Mullin will soon be hanging up her political hat and joining the retirement world and spending time with her grandchildren.
To honor her many years of service, Mullin surprised Ford with a surprise retirement party.
Many of her former colleagues were on hand to “Roast” Betty as they told many stories about the woman who has been described as a 5ft tall blonde spitfire.
Ford who began her career as a field representative over 20 years ago has served with honor and grace working for many of the US Congressmen serving from Oklahoma.
We sure are going to miss her in the political areas, but she will still be around the area volunteering.
