Press release
Earlier today, Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) notified AES Shady Point as being selected as a winning bidder in OGE’s Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
AES Shady Point is very pleased and looks forward to working with OG&E through the next steps of the process for OG&E to acquire the Shady Point facility. “We’re hopeful the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) will take quick action to minimize disruption to our dedicated workforce and vendors,” said Lundy Kiger of AES Shady Point.
We take considerable pride in providing safe, reliable and affordable energy solutions. During the past 28 years, AES Shady Point has been a valued supporter and contributor to the people, communities, business and economy of South Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. OG&E’s selection of AES Shady Point in this RFP process suggests continued community partnerships and support for years to come.
