Winter started with a bitter cold reminder but I love the warmer days that Oklahoma has to offer. And I look forward to the ones predicted for next week. For me, 2022 has been kinda like the weather. Some highs and lows with a bunch of tolerable days in between. So Sunday on the 1st, make your predictions, eat your Black-eyed peas, greens and Cornbread then reflect on the passing days behind and the promise of the days to come. This meal assures us of the opportunity for good health, much wealth and good fortune. Make your predictions easy ones with loopholes. Ya know, “I will try not to be so- grouchy, greedy, gluttony or good looking. I promise to do the best that I can.” This is my chance to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.
