On December 13, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. Michael Flowers, age 67, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while attending a Christmas Parade in front of his home in Panama, Oklahoma. His passing was completely unforeseen, and the shock has left his loved ones heartbroken.
Michael was the devoted husband of 49 years to his wife and only love, Renee. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and family, believing they still had many more years to enjoy side by side. Michael was a proud dad to his son, Michael Flowers Jr., and daughter, Amy Flowers Mitchell, a loving Poppi to his grandchildren Brianna and Grant Mitchell, Michael III, William, and Iris Flowers, and a cherished Great-Poppi to Brian III, Peter, and Matthew Sanders, all of whom adored him deeply.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Amy Flowers Mitchell, a loss that forever changed him. Michael will be cremated and laid to rest at a later date in his final resting place in Hughson, California, next to his daughter Amy.
Because Michael’s passing was so sudden, no financial preparations had been made for a loss of this magnitude. The unexpected expenses associated with his passing have created an overwhelming burden during an already devastating time.
