Personal Injury Accident in LeFlore County Featured

A personal injury collision occurred October 18, 2020, about 6:00 PM on US-271 approximately two miles south of Summerfield in LeFlore County.

Clifton Murray of Rogers, Arkansas, was northbound in a 2000 Chevy pick-up. The truck ran off the right side of the road, over a guard rail and struck a tree. According to the report, seat belts were not in use and airbags did not deploy.

Murray was transported by LeFlore County EMS to Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and listed in stable condition with head and internal trunk injuries.

The cause of the collision was listed as DUI.
