The Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center has announced their November Students of the Month. This month’s 7th grade SOMs are Avery Snipes and Trek Snyder. The 8th grade SOMs are Kaylynn Wedge and Kade Cooper.
Avery is the daughter of Stefany Snipes and Richard Snipes. Her electives are FACS, Tech Ed, and Library Staff. Avery likes school because “I get to learn new things and see my friends.” She is a member of Student Council, Library Staff, Cheerleading, and FCCLA.
Trek is the son of Josh and Kristen Snyder. His electives are Art, Band, and Athletics (Cross-Country and Track). Trek likes school because “I get to learn about school subjects, learn music in band, play sports in athletics, and see my friends. He is a member of Gifted & Talented and the Academic Team.
Kaylynn is the daughter of Barbara Gee and Kevin Gee. Her electives are Art and Choir. Kaylynn likes school because “You get to see your friends and get to learn something new every day, have a positive attitude, and you can get anything done.” She is a member of the Art Club and FCCLA.
Kade is the son of Matthew Cooper and Tanya Lemkelde. His electives are FACS, PE, and Ag. Kade likes school because “I get to come and see my friends and build relationships.
