The Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center’s December Students of the Month are 7th graders Isabelle Akers & Reid Knight and 8th graders Katlynn Figari & Jonathan Baeza.
Isabelle Akers is the daughter of Matt and Erin Akers. Her electives are STEM, FACS, and Leadership. Isabelle likes school because she loves “learning new skills and being around new people”. She is a member of Gifted & Talented, Cheerleading, and FCCLA.
Reid Knight is the son of Chris and Jamilyn Knight. His electives are Athletics, Tech Ed, and Leadership. Reid likes school because he gets “to hang out with my friends, and I get to learn different subjects”. He is a member of FCCLA.
Katlynn Figari is the daughter of Fred Figari and Jennifer Figari. Her electives are Library, Office, Ag, and Leadership. Katlynn likes school because she likes (to see my friends and getting to learn about new things”. She is a member of NJHS and Library Staff.
Jonathan Baeza is the son of Victor and Maria. His electives are Athletics, Tech Ed, and Band. Jonathan likes school because he gets “to learn things I enjoy”. He is a member of the Academic Team.
