Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center has released the January 2024 Students of the Month. The January 2024 SOM are 7th graders Briceyda Salvador and Erik Martinez and 8th graders Griffen Miller and Kenyon Bledsoe.
Briceyda’s parents are Mario Salvador and Anselma Reyes. Her electives are choir and band. Briceyda likes school because “I get to meet new friends and find things that I like.”
Erik’s parents are Anna Bender and Miguel Martinez. His electives are football, soccer, basketball, and art. Erik likes school because “It get me out of my house, and I like playing sports for the school.”
Griffen’s parents are Shane Miller and Jessica Miller. Her electives are library staff, ag explorations, and 8th FACS. Griffen likes school because “It provides me time to socialize with friends and learn new interesting things.” Her activities include Library Staff.
Kenyon’s parents are Mariko and Brandon Bledsoe. His electives are athletics, weightlifting, and leadership. Kenyon likes school because “I get to see friends.” His activities include NJHS and Science Club.
