Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center ‘s March SOM

Poteau Public Schools 7th and 8th Grade Center has announced the March Students of the Month. The 7^th grade SOM are Madison Cohen and Sawyer Watkins. The 8^th Grade SOM are Katherine Jordan and Creighton Clark.

Madison is the daughter of Tracy Cohen and Scott Cohen. Her electives are Tech Ed, STEAM, and Choir. Madison likes school because “I get a chance to learn some of the interests I have”. She is a member of Gifted & Talented, NJHS, Academic Team, and Cheerleading.

Sawyer is the son of Addison Watkins and Sheldon Watkins. His electives are FACS, Tech Ed, Keyboarding, and Art. Sawyer likes school because “I get to see my friends and have fun”. He is a member of NJHS.

Katherine Jordan is the daughter of Sarah & Gary Jordan. Her electives are Choir, Athletics, and Library Worker. Katherine likes school because “I get to see my friends and I get to learn about the subjects I like”. She is a member of Gifted & Talented, Student Council, NJHS, Academic Team, and Library Staff.

Creighton Clark is the son of Karna Clay and Johnathan Clark. His electives are Athletics, Weightlifting, and Robotics. Creighton likes school because “I get to talk to my friends, do sports, and learn things”. He is a member of Gifted & Talented, Student Council, NJHS, and Academic Team.
