The Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center has announced their Students of the Month for September 2023. The 7th grade SOM are Lylah Lum and Cael Terry. The 8th grade SOM are Keynlee Harris and Brody Wood.
Lylah is the daughter of Jeff and Ashley Lum. Her electives are Library, Office Worker, Art, and Choir. Lylah likes school “because it is a good way to catch up with friends and learn new stuff.” She is a member of the Academic Team, Student Council, Library Staff, NJHS, and Cheerleading.
Cael is the son of Kristen Terry and Cody Terry. His electives are Athletics, Art, and STEM. Cael likes school “because it is a great place to learn and become more intelligent.
Keynlee is the daughter of Brad Harris, Amber Carpenter, and Layken Carpenter. Her electives are Athletics, Weightlifting, and FACS. Keynlee likes school “because I get to see my friends and I get to play basketball.” She is a member of NJHS, Science Club and FCCLA.
Brody is the son of Cindy and Cory Wood. His electives are Athletics, Weightlifting, and Library. Brody likes school “because I get to see my friends.” He is a member of the Academic Team, Library Staff, and NJHS.
