Poteau Seventh and Eighth Grade Center (SEC) has released their Students of the Month (SOM) for September.
September SOM are:
7th Grade—Macy Nixon and Jaxon Smith
8th Grade—Sudie Pinkston and Griffin Ulmer
Macy’s parents are David and Karen Nixon. Her electives are Art, Band, and Athletics. Macy likes school because “I get to see my friends and learn”. She is a member of Gifted & Talented and Academic Team.
Jaxon’s parents are Desiray and Joey Smith. His electives are Athletics and STEM. Jaxon likes school because “I like to learn a lot and I love my friends”. He is a member of Gifted & Talented.
Sudie’s parents are Royce Pinkston and Janny Pinkston. Her electives are Choir, Art, and Library. Sudie likes school because “School keeps me motivated and trains my brain to be active”. She is a member of Library Staff.
Griffin’s parents are Larry and Cynthia Ulmer. His electives are Art, Robotics, and Choir. Griffin likes school because “It is good!”
