These students were selected as the Poteau 7th and 8th grade Students of the Month for November 2021.
7th Grade:
Lextyn Soehlman is the daughter of Hollie Soehlman and Mike Soehlman. Her electives are athletics, art, and leadership. Lextyn likes school because “I can see my friends and get to learn about everything.” She is a member of NJHS.
Jayce Cloud is the son of Alba Cloud and Jason Cloud. His electives are athletics and S.T.E.M. Jayce likes schools because “It is fun, and I get to see my friends.”
8th Grade:
Lexi Henson is the daughter of Melinda Henson and Brian Henson. Her electives are art, FACS, and current events. Lexi likes school because “I get to spend time with my friends and learn new things.” She is a member of NJHS and FCCLA.
Evan Thao is the son of Ka Xiong and Xeng Thao. His electives are art and PE. Evan likes school because “I get to see my friends.”
