The Poteau Chamber of Commerce hosted their June Lunch and Learn meeting Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center in Poteau. This was the first Lunch and Learn since the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines halted in-person meetings. This month’s topic was “Meet the Candidates”. All the candidates running for office in LeFlore County were invited.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Karen Wages, welcomed those in attendance and Bob Hawley did the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Each candidate was allowed 2 minutes to introduce himself and talk about his campaign and/or qualifications for the job for which he was running.
