Poteau February 7th & 8th Grade Students of the Month

The Poteau 7^th/8^th Grade Center February Students of the Month are 7^th graders Arcely Garcia and Yahir Ruiz and 8^th graders Laney Edwards and Nate Doshier.

Arcely is the daughter of Laura Garcia. Her electives are computers and FCCLA. She likes school because “it’s a place where I can communicate with people and my friends.” Arcely is a member of FCCLA.

Yahir is the son of Nancy Solano. His electives are athletics, band, and art. He likes school because “it’s a good school and all teachers and staff members are all the best.”

Laney Edwards is the daughter of Ashley Edwards and Chad Edwards. Her electives are athletics, leadership, and library/office worker. She likes school because “I like to learn new things and hang out with my friends.” Laney is a member of Gifted & Talented, Academic Team, Reading Club, Library Staff, NJHS, and Science Club.

Nate is the son of Michael and Dana Doshier. His electives are Office/Library worker, FACS, and Ag. He likes school because “I get to see friends and go to Ag.” Nate is a member of NJHS and Library Staff.
