Ethan McBee, a Class of 2024 High School football player at Poteau High School had an outstanding performance at the 2023 Kicking World invite-only National Showcase on Dec 2nd and 3rd in Austin, Texas.
“Ethan was clearly one of the best kickers at this year’s National Showcase and I’m extremely proud of the progress he’s made since starting with us at 11 years old. He’s now college ready with a big kickoff leg, very accurate field goals, and he always shows poise under pressure. He also has very good grades and test scores and I know academics are important to him. We’re working hard to help him land a great college home and I’m excited to see what school he ends up choosing,” said Brent Grablachoff, Owner & Coach of Kicking World. “ One of our longest tenured campers, I expected Ethan to do well this weekend, but he really blew everyone away. He was clearly one of the best kickers there and earned his spot on the Kicking World recruiting list being listed as one of the best kickers in the nation.”
Coach Grablachoff, said “McBee, finished the weekend tied #1 Overall on Day 1 Field Goal Charting going a perfect 8 for 8 through 55 yards, and 8th overall on Day 1 Kickoffs. Then on Day 2 he was the Overall winner of the Kickoff Elimination event, also finishing with the highest overall hang time average of just over 4 seconds, which shows he definitely has what it takes to continue on at the college level. He also has very good grades and test scores and I am looking forward to his recruitment ramping up over the coming weeks.”
Kicking World holds over 50 kicking camps across 32 major cities in 22 states.
