Howe Public Schools – Internship Program
Mainstreet Volunteer Program – This program is being designed and will be kicked off this spring. The goal is to bring awareness to the community’s needs, promote pride in Downtown and to kick up a little competitive drive.

Design Committee Update
• This committee is led by Kim Hoffman-Wilson and Jennifer Cox. They will be taking on the First Friday events which are now scheduled for May, June, September and October (avoiding the hotter months). They will be announcing additional events to be held in the pocket park on Dewey Ave during the months of July and Aug.

Mission
Their Mission is to encourage architectural and historical preservation of the downtown area of Poteau through promotion of cultural events and beautification projects in an effort to affect economic revitalization and organization of public resources.
Objective: To raise awareness within the community about what the Poteau Main Street Program does for the community.
