President Natlynn Hayes, Zane Harrison, Keihara Marshall, Vice President Moriah Schmidt

The Poteau Musical Arts hosted their 2025 scholarship recipients, Keihara Marshall and Zane Harrison and their immediate family at the EOMC meeting room on May 10, 2025. The event was catered by the EOMC cafeteria staff. Both students performed arts songs and musical theatre songs. Keihara performed Pieta, Signore by Stradella and Think of Me from The Phantom of the Opera by Webber. Zane performed Che fiero costume by Legrenzi and Dancing Through Life from Wicked by Schwartz. Zane received the PMA scholarship for a Poteau High School senior planning to major in music. Zane has been accepted into the Music Education program at UAFS with an emphasis in vocal music. Keihara received the PMA music achievement scholarship and plans to be an English major at UAFS and participate in choral activities.

Guests attending the luncheon included Keihara’s mother, Teresa Marshall, her grandmother, Becky Marshall, Zane’s parents, Michael and Kristin Harrison, and his grandmother, Sandy Harrison. Members in attendance included Nancy Pipkins, Diana Grindstaff, Raegan Thomas, Moriah Schmidt, Diann Henson, and Natlynn Hayes. A short business meeting followed lunch where the officers for 2025-2027 were announced. Moriah Schmidt, President, Natlynn Hayes, Vice President, Diann Henson, Treasurer, and Natasha Rachamsetty, Secretary. The view from the meeting room, the music, and the food were enjoyed by everyone attending the event.
