Poteau, OKLAHOMA – The Poteau Balloonfest has become one of Oklahoma’s Signature Events.
Each year the event attracts thousands of visitors to the Poteau Area.
For the past 5 years the Poteau High School Football Team has served as a great part of the festival as chase crew for the Balloon pilots.
On Friday night, during the first round of State Football competition, Karen Wages, CEO, Poteau Chamber of Commerce presented a check in the amount of $1000.00 to the team.
The PHS Football Team are not only winners on the football field but also on the Balloonfest field.
